About us

We are based in the UK, currently in Bournemouth and London, St James Trust was conceived by Nick Butterfield, who realised that there was a need in the global internet industry for the creation of a neutral Safe Trading Zone (STZ), whereby members and investors can use their names as security and a place to keep their names safe.

In the last 10 years, from virtually nothing the internet has grown from a gimic to an essential part of business and domestic life.

A domain name is now a crutial part of a business, part of its intellectual property, identity and in the case of it’s email address; its global post office

Many directors, owners and individuals simply just don’t understand and value the importance of the protection of the domain names. (url and email.)

In a recent survey 82% of directors of business’s did not know who their registrar, registrant, administration and technical contact was for their domain name.

Yet in the event of its accidental expiry or loss of passwords, even malcious staff, a whole company can lose its business and emails.
